Imagine the sounds of music’s biggest artists bellowing through the streets of Youngstown as thousands of fans gather within our great city’s limits; every fan assembled with the sole purpose of enjoying what Youngstown, Ohio has to offer. Simply put, this will be the mission of the Y Live. Y Live will provide the opportunity for our community to experience an extraordinary event unlike anything they have seen before. Part celebration of our city’s renaissance, the annual Y Live music festival will undoubtedly celebrate where the city is headed as major artists attract fans nationwide for an event that will be both transformative for our city and enormously impactful to the city we all call “home”.

The event is co-promoted between JAC LIVE and Muransky Companies and presented by Sweeney Chevrolet, the Debartolo Corporation, Huntington Bank and the Eastwood Mall.

Y Live will take place at Stambaugh Stadium at Youngstown State University. The stadium’s address is: 577 5th Ave, Youngstown, OH 44502.

At 2:00 p.m., there will be a tailgate party next to Stambaugh Stadium. At 5:30 p.m., the doors of the stadium will open for the concert. At 7:00 p.m., the concert will begin.

Y Live is Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Only during the day of the event at Youngstown State University’s mobile box office located near Gate C by Stambaugh Stadium. Tickets can be purchased starting at 10:00 a.m.

Tickets prices are: $45.50, $55.50, $65.50, $75.50, $81.50, and $95.50.

Additionally, there will be a $4.00 facility fee which applies to each ticket.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. You can purchase online at, by coming to the Southwoods Box Office at the Covelli Centre during business hours, Monday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m, 1-800-745-3000.

Note: Buying a concert ticket does not include access to the tailgate party or parking. You must purchase a tailgate or parking spot in advance online or as inventory allows on the day of the event.


Only non-alcoholic beverages, such as water, are permitted into the tailgate. All alcohol must be purchased inside the tailgate lot.

The Phantom Fireworks Tailgate Party will only be in two lots at Youngstown State University: Lots M63 and M70.

Beer will be available for individual purchase or in bulk.

At 2:00 p.m., the tailgate party will start next to Stambaugh Stadium.

Along with concert tickets, tickets to the Phantom Fireworks Tailgate Party do not go on sale to the public until Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. 

At the date and time listed above, tailgate pre-sale parking will be available on or at the Covelli Centre Box Office for $35. Day of tailgate parking is $30. ONE parking pass guarantees you ONE parking space. A limited amount of advance parking passes will be sold. To walk into the tailgate, you do not need a ticket.


Doors to Stambaugh Stadium will open at 5:30 p.m. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

EMTs and an ambulance will be on-site. Please find the nearest security personnel or guest services employee for assistance.

Please note: Prohibited items can be returned to your car. Youngstown State University and JAC Live do not assume responsibility for these items. Confiscated items will not be returned.

To minimize  food and beverage stand wait times, we encourage patrons to bring cash to Y Live! We will accept credit cards at select stands as well.

    Great question. Chair back seats will be available on the floor as well as in the club section. Otherwise, the remaining seats are all bleachers. Does that help? Thank you!
